    Using a custom status “Picked Up” along with a code snippet that you provided a while back. Is this still the correct code with all of the recent updates?

    So it looks like for some reason I had this issue again and Im not sure exactly why as nothing has recently changed.

    I am still using custom statuses. I added the “prepped” status to the list but someone was still able to book the same item for the same period (December 14-17) and the product inventory shows a QTY of 1.

     

    The “Prepped” status was basically copied from “Equipment Due Back” custom status and I followed the same approach as far as adding code.

    Any ideas?

    I think this was a freak moment. I can’t replicate it now. Ill keep an eye out to see if we can replicate the issue and if we can Ill screen shot it and readdress.

    Maybe what you are wanting is under the Reports section.

    Easy Booking –> Reports

    There are a ton of options to search by on that page.

    You have it set to make everything globally bookable. Just uncheck the box under settings;

     

    Easy Booking –> Settings –> Uncheck “Make All Products Bookable?”

    All items you have created will remain bookable however you can unselect the ones you dont want and you will be good. Additionally any new items you create will not be bookable and you will need to check the box to make them bookable.

    Oh that’s interesting. Everything was set to manually. I just intialized and now I only have 3 on End (same order just 3 items). Completed I have 1,158 items. That might have been the ticket! I’ll let you know after some testing these next couple of days. Good catch!

    Since I have been using these plugins for a while I think I know what you will need to do and maybe the admins can agree or offer a better solution but for the time being this is what I suggest (sidenote I am a user note developer or admin here):

    Since you have different tours that are on different days, what I would do is also purchase and install Disable Dates, then for each product disable all dates that don’t apply.

    The easiest way for this to work is if the tours have the same set dates each week. So for example Tour 1 (product 1) will always run Mondays and Wednesdays and Tour 2 (product 2) runs Mondays and Fridays. The days don’t matter, just as long as they aren’t variable. If they are variable they will just take a little more leg work on the disable dates plugin (more about that below)

    So what you would do is create separate products (tour 1 and tour 2) and then disable the dates that don’t apply. Then when the customers go to select the date they want, it only gives them those options. For my case, we disable Sundays since we are not open but in your case you’d just disable the dates that don’t have running tours. So when they open the calendar to select their dates, they will only see the available dates for that tour. Hopefully that makes sense.

    Additionally, you want to make sure you don’t have the products following the global settings but rather have each tour follow it’s own rules for disabled dates since each tour could have different days of the week that they run.

    For the easy booking side of things, you’ll also want to make sure that they only need to select one date.

    When you select the booking box, you should get a new tab on the left side of the product that says “bookings”. That is where you will see all the information regarding number of dates to select (in your case this can follow global since all products are 1 date). Book duration (also global since this is also one date), minimum booking duration (global), max booking duration (global), first available date (global).

    When you add disable dates, then you will see more options under the bookings tab. You’ll be able to disable based on actual days like November 21, or you can do by the day such as Monday, Tuesday etc. Additionally you can do date range too.

    Yeah I just confirmed that I am on 1.6.6 with Availability Check.

    We definitely have a ton of orders.  17 processing, 8 on hold, 907 completed, 1 cancelled, 1 refunded, 6 failed, and 2 picked up. So a total of 944 orders in total.

    Any suggestions on something to try?

    So I disabled Availability, Disable Dates and Duration Discounts and it was much faster.

    Without them disabled I was looking at 1 minute + time. With them disabled I changed the status of 3 orders and it completed in 16 seconds.

    Bluehost was able to do whatever needed to be done to allow for me to have access.
